Via the Washington Post's Market Roundup, here's your heads up for where you can find cupcakes in the District's farmers markets this weekend: At Saturday's 14th & U Farmers Market, Pecan Meadow will have tiny carrot cupcakes made from its own carrots. Aside from their cupcakes, you should check out their Pumpkin Whoopie Pies which have apparently caused quite the stir - getting rave write ups in Washington Post and all over other local food blogs. I can't seem to find a website for them, but here's a picture of those infamous Whoopie Pies via Washington Post's photog James Thresher:

Those whoopie pies look fantastic! Sounds like a great event and I'm sure I'd end up putting on some weight if I visited. Some delicious sounding stuff!
