Election Cupcakes
Election Day is upon us! In the final days before voters head to the polls, local bakeries are showing their enthusiasm with Election-themed cupcakes. Hello Cupcake is selling the adorable Donkey & Elephant cupcakes you see below. How cute! They are $3.50 each or $39/dozen. You can also find Donkey & Elephant cupcakes available at Georgetown Cupcake from now through November 4.

I went by Hello Cupcake this afternoon and they don't have election cupcakes :( The person behind the counter told me he hasn't seen them, heard of them nor knows of any plans for Hello Cupcake to have them.
Hi Anya! That's odd he would have said that...I saw a picture of the election cupcakes on the Hello Cupcake website and shot an email off to the owner, Penny Karas, asking her the details. She wrote back this morning before I did the posting saying "The donkey and elephant cupcakes that you saw on the website are the ones we are doing for election day. They are $3.50 each or $39/dozen."
Let me get to the bottom of this...maybe I misinterpreted this to mean they currently have them, whereas Penny meant they will only have them on Election Day...
Ooh, could be just for Election Day, true. I didn't think of that either. Thanks for the heads up either way, I wanted to get a few for a party :)
No problem! Sorry for the confusion - I sent off another email to Penny so I'll keep you posted on what she says!
