The July/August issue of Bethesda Magazine mentions Mia's Pizza in it's Dining Guide, which features all new write-ups of more than 200 area restaurants. The blurb says:
Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Bethesda Magazine readers in 2008, Mia's wood-burning oven turns out consistently good, Naples-style pies with a variety of toppings, homemade soups, and cupcakes in a cheery dining room with yellow, orange, and green accents.
The Magazine assigned Mia's two dollar signs (on a scale of 1 to 4, 1 being the cheapest and 4 being the most expensive) and noted that Mia's serves Lunch and Dinner only. My personal opinion? If not for the cupcakes, you definitely have to check this place out for the pizza.

I really am perplexed that Mia's would rate so well with Bethesda Magazine readers. I found the pizza just OK, and for the price not worth it. The salad was small. And the cupcake my daughter had tasted like it had been frozen. Well, chacun รก son gout.
