As I've mentioned before, one of my favorite things to do for my coworkers is bring cupcakes to my office on Fridays. Since one of my coworkers is pregnant, I thought this time I'd bring in some pink and white-iced Red Velvet cupcakes. Mmm!

Thanks!! I hate to disappoint, but the Red Velvet is a secret...sorry! All my cupcake recipes are either family cake recipes or the result of lots of trial and error from trying new things.
If you're trying to make a flavor you've never made before, I'd recommend starting with googling recipes for that flavor/looking on recipe websites and seeing what works according to user reviews. I never follow a recipe by the book, and always add/change things according to what I know works (based on past trial and error)! Good luck!
